Jody Smith the Owner/Artist of Overlay Solutions has over 18 years in the landscape design & installation field, and is very excited about the creation of Coastal Rock Productions.
Jody Smith has put together an amazing variety of services that take an artistic approach from concrete design to completion. Smith understands the need for solid production, but doesn't base the success of his business on how many yearly jobs are completed. That success is based on the solid craftsmanship, intricate design details and the smiles on his client's faces at project completion.
“We are artists, not a crew of contractors throwing together our projects to reach a yearly goal. We have a small crew so that all phases of our installs are inspected and developed by our lead artist”.
There is no cookie cutter approach in any of our designs, which will assure that all of our projects are unique and one of a kind.
Coastal Rock Productions had a great opportunity to complete a concrete theming project at the new otter exhibit at Charles Towne landing located in Charleston, SC.
It was a splash pool and lower pond elevation addition to the already established exhibit. The exhibit opened on April, 2nd 2011. I recommend it to everyone the otters love their new habitat.
Coastal Rock worked with International Public Works for the final phase of the project.
